Dispensation from participating in the Holy Mass was lifted

We would like to inform you that the dispensation from participating in the Holy Mass on Sundays and holidays of obligation issued due to the COVID-19 pandemic, was lifted in the Archdiocese of Chicago on the First Sunday of Advent 2022. We would like to remind you that obedience to the third commandment of the Decalogue and the first commandment of the church in ordinary situations obliges a Catholic to be present in the church at the Eucharist on Sundays and holy days of obligation.
