On Thursday, February 11 – in memorial of Our Lady of Lourdes – we will celebrate the World Day of the Sick. All those who want to receive the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick are invited to attend a bilingual Polish-English Mass at 7:00 pm. We also ask to help the sick to get to the church.
The sacrament of anointing the sick is not just for those in danger of death. That sacrament gives power and courage to the sick. You can take the sacrament of the sick many times during your life. Anointing of the sick can be received by the following persons:
- at risk of serious illness;
- at risk of death;
- the elderly;
- pending major surgery;
- to the unconscious who previously asked or would asked for this sacrament.
