On Wednesday, February 11, 2026 – on the memorial of Our Lady of Lourdes – we will celebrate the World Day of the Sick. Due to the Study Days of the Society of Christ priests, the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick will be administered to all who wish to receive it on Sunday, February 15, 2026 at the 9:00am and 12:00pm Mass.
We also ask to help the sick to get to the church. The sacrament of the anointing the sick is not just for those in danger of death. That sacrament gives power and courage to the sick. You can take the sacrament of the sick many times during your life.
Anointing of the sick can be received by the following persons:
- at risk of serious illness,
- at risk of death,
- elderly,
- pending major surgery,
- to the unconscious who previously asked or would have asked for this sacrament.
